BACKGROUND
The Concept to form philanthropic Community Foundation comes
from two philanthropists whose dream and vision is to help their communities.
PCF was formed to create an interactive space for charities, to promote
philanthropic activities and to create common charity causes to help the
vulnerable groups in society, born in 2021 by concerned philanthropists Mutebi
Frank and Maria.M.Muhairwe.
Philcom club is an umbrella Organisation that brings
together young and elderly people to develop leadership skills while
discovering the power of service.
OBJECTIVES
To achieve PCF’S mission and vision our operations and staff
are guided by a set of objectives designed to promote vertical and horizontal
accountability and responsibility with the purposes of acting in the overall
interest of our members and the community. PCF’S objectives are:

promote philanthropic activities.
- To
create an interactive space for charities.
- To
create common causes for charity
OUR VISION
Philanthropic Community Foundation's (PCF) vision is a
society based on legitimate rights, equity, justice, honesty, social
sensitivity and a culture of service in which all are self-reliant, to improve
and promote the welfare of individuals through promoting philanthropic
activities and creating an interactive space for charity themes.
Our focus and reason for existence is the spirit of philanthropy, Organisation
and sensitisation of the community is the approach through which empowerment,
capacity building and social transformation are attempted.
OUR MISSION
We commit ourselves – To identify and work along the
economically and socially deprived, the physically and mentally challenged –
starting with children, so that they become educated, skilled and aware.
Enable them to be self-reliant and enjoy a healthy, dignified and sustainable
quality of life And to that end, act as a resource to and collaborate with
other agencies – governmental or non-governmental, as well as suitably
intervene in policy formulation.
